The Mask

I never spent that much time on this poem. It just... it described the way I felt. My sister was seriously ill at the time and I'd been worrying and worrying for weeks to the point where I just... wore a mask around my pain. I thought of this on the car ride to the hospital to visit her, remembered it later, and wrote it down.
