During the Thinning , 80% of global human population fell ill with a fast-moving and fatal disease. This illness was incurable even by the Pill, a small capsule that each individual is born with able to perform a one-time fix that can cure almost anything. Those who survived the plague, the Immunes, were not left unscathed. Most of the survivors were left infertile, leaving the human race at a standstill. This is Loyan's world. Bands of survivors roam the New World evading dangerous creatures, bandits, and Pill hunters. Loyan belongs to one of these bands. Her journey takes her across many strange lands, home to even stranger beings and magics. It is not an easy one.
