Three years ago

Thomas Burkhardt is Nick's older brother, he's married Kate Stanley and just had a daughter named Lexie. Nick had a good relationship with his brother, he is after all one of the only ones left in his family. But misfortune strikes, Thomas and his wife were killed only three weeks after Lexie was born.
