Awakening

The Great War between Heaven and Hell happened eons ago, and when Heaven won the fallen were banished. But now they seek another chance, to fight for a different outcome. In something so cataclysmic and important what could a young 18 year old Carla Clapp have to do with any of it? Nothing, at least that's what she thinks until she meets Ryker; a cunning, ruthless, and all too handsome servant of Hell whose job it is to find Carla and take her back with him. As unwilling as she is to trust in the one thing she's been taught to fear Carla makes the decision to put her faith in Ryker. But Ryker is keeping secrets; ones that hold the fate of whether Carla lives or dies. Can Carla breathe new life into the hard heart of Ryker?
