Chapter one

Zara Young's life is difficult. She has a boyfriend, Wes, who she cheats on with Jake. Somebody that physically abuses her and makes her feel like she deserves it. Then she has Henry, her English teacher who notices her bruises and tries her to open up to him. Who, may i add she may have feelings for. Zara doesn't know what to do. She's only 16 and has been through 6 black eyes in the past 3 months. She tries to leave, but can't. She just can't.
