Chapter 1

Kat had been planning the perfect summer before junior year: Working at the ice cream place down the street with her almost boyfriend Seth, going to concerts with her friends, etc. Her plans are shattered when her loser dad's new Irish girlfriend and her daughter, Darcy, are invited to stay for the summer. To Kat's dismay, Darcy is perfect: beautiful, sweet, and with a killer Irish accent. Just the kind of person who could (and would) steal Seth in the blink of an eye.
