Congressman Albert Vidad was the quintessential politician: honest, dedicated, passionate and wholly patriotic.

He also hates criminals. The heinous ones. And for him the only way to deal with such criminals was by killing them, by means of capital punishment which he wanted to be reinstated.

His worthy adversary in this cause was Bishop Roberto Corpuz, his exact equivalent in the ranks of the Church.
