Jackson Clyde Niomi and Shadow Sanitys paths cross when Jackson is hired to train shadow. They are both half demon.

Shadow lives an abusive life. He feels lower than others. He suffers from depression and schizophrenia.

Jacksons mother left his family when he was young. He doesn't even know his own age. His father is abusive and his brothers hates his guts. He suffers from multi personality disorder.
