In their post-apocalyptic world, Thomas and Alexander have seen how terrible life can get. Hiding from radioactive predators. Struggling to eat. War breaking out among the surviving humans over tiny quarrels. Resorting to cannibalism even.

Alex is determined to make the world a better place.

Thomas also has this mindset.

But as always, they have different ways to go about it.

When radiation levels spike and animals get bigger, the two must put their difference aside to put an end to the controlling form of government that their world is following. If they can't, everyone they love will end up dead or eaten.
