CHAPTER 1 : THORNS AND THISTLES

Loner, biker and bartender, Lana Pascal also known as Mo goes to work at her beloved uncle's nightclub, the Thorns and Thistles after her father's sudden death. She becomes embroiled in a tumultuous relationship of Rachel, her abusive boyfriend, Luke and their son, Zac.

When she is handed a life sentence for murder she is pitted against the only witness and longstanding rival, Luke, who despises her.

During a gruelling trial she faces the impossible task of proving her innocence and, trapped in a body that does not fit the sexual straight jacket of a society characterised by intolerance, patriarchy and hate crimes towards those labelled as sexual outcasts she is subjected to public humiliation, bias and intense media scrutiny.
