Description
Emma Marie Doyle lives with her abusive adoptive parents in a dingy little house on Spinners end in London. One day while her parents are out a man in funky robes comes to her house and tells her that she's a witch and about the school she'll be going to. He takes her to get her school supplies from Diagon Alley then takes her to the school to meet the headmaster and teachers. They are in for a big surprise though, when they find out that she's mute. One of the teachers takes her under his wing and teaches her sign language plus gives her a safe place to live until the years over and she has to go back. What happens when she is adopted by said teacher and he finds out her secrets. Will he do what it takes to keep her safe or will he turn his back on her like Lily did to him so many years ago?
