Prologue

Living in Solaris could be a good thing- if you weren't Fira, that is. Fira wants to be free, not stuck in a small village where no one could make an impact on the world.
A dragon attack could give her the freedom she had always dreamed of, but with a vast price. Whether Fira is willing to pay is irrelevant- she has no choice as the price is one she must pay.
She can finally live the life she wanted, protecting people so they don't have to face the horrors of death.
But can Fira cope with the pressure of living in the royal palace, with everything that is going on around there?
