A few years after the war for their freedom and vengeance, Freya and Loki have settled down. But still, they struggle to get through the day fighting their demons.

On the way home from the market, Freya hears a cry down with the river. She finds an abandoned baby. Not sure what to do, she takes the child with her home, but as time goes she is starting to think there is something more about this baby than she imagined.
