Stolen Identity(who am I)

A girl named Anna goes on a trip to find her father, who was kidnapped.
the kidnapper in an attempt to kill her sends her pet snake Tails to kill her but fails to do so.
Later on when Anna finds out who the kidnapper is. Anna gets shot and falls off a cliff.
But the story doesn't end there. :)
