Prologue

The mystic arts are sacred and only the strongest can conquer them. However, that doesn't mean that other creatures can't harness it either. As an animal in the mystic arts it is their responsibility to protect their chosen Sorcerer even at the cost of their own life.

Sergantis is one of those creatures. He is a wolf with a tragic past that he carries around with him like a shadow. However, when he meets a man even more broken than him how will he react? Will he help him? Or will his own pain and misery distract him from the greater good?
