Before I can think better of it I spin on my heels to face him. He goes to speak, but before he utters a word a hand connects with the side of his face. I don't understand why I am so angry. He just saved my life, but he has done terrible things to me before that, I have to remind myself. My right hand starts stinging as I turn back around with tears threatening to spill from my eyes.
