Description
Meet Elias Morrigan. Raised by ultra-religous Catholic parents in the late 60s in Sacramento, California, his worst fear is that they'll find out he's gay. Well, unfortunately that's exactly what happens. Horrified at having a gay son, his parents kick him out. On the street, Elias meets Bird, a quite literal flower child. She is part of a band of hippies on their way to the Summer of Love in San Francisco. Elias decides to join them, as they provide food and shelter. Living with the hippies, Elias realises how miserable he was when he lives with his parents and opens his mind to the free-wheeling ideas of the hippie counterculture. But it's not all peace signs and flower crowns. Elias must face some very real challenges in his paradise. Can he overcome them and live his life to the fullest?
