"Friends? With me?" Sophie struggled to grasp the words coming out of his mouth.

"Yes, with you. Look Sophie, after the war, I changed. You intrigue me as I'm sure I intrigue you for I am the one and only Draco Malfoy." Draco boasts about himself smiling proudly. "And I have yet to thank you for saving me from the fire."

How can he possibly want to befriend Sophie after everything from their past? They loathe each other for goodness sake! Amycus, an ex-death eater attacked Sophie. Is another war about to start? Draco felt the need to protect her. Why? He didn't know. But that scares him most of all.
