Author's note

"Seth Solis..." I whisper my name aloud, tracing the print with my fingertip. Almost instantly, ink swirls off of the page in long strands, flying away from the letters and surrounding me, wrapping around my slender body like an obsidian cocoon.

Suddenly a weight is dropped on my thoughts, and the only thing I feel is a need to go to sleep. Surprise at the abnormality of my situation barely registers in the back of my mind. Letting the darkness consume me, I close my eyes and fall.

Fall, fall, fall

Into the vast unknown.

What do you think of the name 'Seth Solis'? Some people laughed at the alliteration; most agreed that it sounded like the name of a demon. But Seth wasn't a demon... Was he?
