Prologue

Anneth has long clung to her dreams, though sorrow has threatened to murder them again and again. There was a time when sorrow made her hopes only sweeter, but as Sauron grows yet stronger in the East, she feels everything she has ever held dear falling through her fingers as sand through an hourglass. Faith, hope, and love have never failed her, even as her dreams have, but when the complete unexpected becomes her reality, she begins to fully understand how difficult it is continue to abide by those three that shall always remain.
