Chapter 1- Brook

I wish I wasn't blind.

That's right. I was born into a world of no colour. A world with no form, even. No matter how hard I try, imagining anything seems impossible. It's like being stuck in a dark, bottomless pit. You can't see anything, yet you can feel it all. When I tell someone, "I'm blind," I can feel the look of confusion on their faces. They're judging me, and next thing I know, I'm being set aside like an out-of-date phone.

So that's why I'm taking as long as possible to get ready for school.

Maybe if I was normal, things wouldn't be as hard.
