Prologue

We've broken the rules again...we've both crossed the barrier to meet here. But the wonderful thing is...neither one of us care.
He offers me his hand, and I take it, smiling. We've done this so many times, I already know the Split Forest better than the Hunters or the Trackers.
There's this place...this one spot..where you can see the Split. That's where we go every night we can...we lay directly under the Split and watch the stars.
Because the stars...they're indefinite...they are ever changing. And yes, that can be scary. But...it's also full of hope...hope that things...time, space, ideas, hearts...people...can change. And with change comes hope. In our case...hope for love to last. To be infinite.
