Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get - only with what you are expecting to give - which is everything. "I have loved you since the first time I saw you. I just didn't realize it then." She had tears running down her face. Hope was nowhere to be found, she had lost all thoughts of happiness and she was trying to accept the pain that was going to come. "I don't know what to say, I'm...I don't know." He ran a hand through his hair messing them up, just the way she used to love them. But now all she felt was pain. He didn't feel anywhere close to what she did. "Let it go." She sniffed. Wiping her face she started turned around and walked away. Expectation had burned her. Did she think he would change for her? There hadn't been a second when she hadn't wished for him to stop her and say that he loved her too. She had longed for his husky voice to fill her ears. But it never happened. And just like that, what was supposed to be beautiful; became her misery and her heart was burnt into ashes. Little did she know; it was only the beginning.
