One Last Time

"You're late again for the meeting with Cennaire. You can't miss another meeting." Felix tried leading Mark away, but he forcefully yanked his arm from Felix's grip.

"I can't lose Sean again, he needs me!" Mark protested as he started to walk away again.

"Would you rather be a leader or be with Sean." Felix spat his name as if it was a curse word.

Mark froze, glancing over his shoulder with a sorrowful expression.

"Sean means the world to me. And if I have to lose my right of leading to be with him, then fine. Enjoy leading the village with Cennaire." Mark removed his dark red cape, letting it drop to the snowy floor as he then ran off, leaving a stunned Felix behind.
