Chapter 1: Companion

Hunter never had the luxury of knowing who her Companion was going to be. And even if she could've guessed, she would never have guessed correctly. Edge is scary, intimidating, and even abusive at times. Everyone runs from him in fear. But Hunter has to live with him. Both of them have difficulty adjusting to the lifestyles they think they are meant to live. They are both forced into situations that they do not feel capable of handling. Through each other, they realize that everything they thought they knew before was wrong. Especially everything they thought they knew about themselves.
