✦ Dates back in ancient China. Wù Ruolan is a young beautiful girl from a well respected family. Her father is the leading general for the Emperor. The King made an arrangement for his son, Zhang Feng (the Crown Prince), and Ruolan to marry each other. When Ruolan turns fourteen, she is taken to the palace. For years on end, her husband, the Crown Prince, has yet to visit her or consummate the marriage. Later the Crown Prince is forced to marry a Princess ( Princess Xu) because of a peace treaty. But Zhang Feng goes crazy and does along with Ruolan. Except Ruolan doesn't die. In 2017, she meets someone who possess Zhang Feng's face. After spending hundreds and thousands of years searching for her lover, will she be with him, even if he's not the Zhang Feng she use to love? Or will she be so bent on ending thousands of years of misery and choose death?
