Prologue

After a rumor is spread in the small town of Maywater, Charlotte Darrow, also known as Charlie, needed an escape. Fresh out of high school, Charlie leaves everything behind and buys a one-way bus ticket to New York City. It's not too long before she gets wrapped up in all the city drama.
