Shelby Carter is excited for summer. Going to the beach, meeting guys, doing things she's not supposed to, typical summer stuff.
One day, she meets a boy named Drew, and falls for him completely. She spends most of summer with him, and then school comes around.
She ignores their romantic months away, and brushes it off as it was just a summer fling.
