The best short stories aren't thought of when focused on for hours on end, determined to find a plot, they're thought of in the spice of a moment. Majority of the stories origins' contained here were thought of driving through a rainstorm on a Wednesday evening, or sitting out back watching the sunrise with friends talking about politics and drinking sprite. The biggest ideas can hit you just like that, without a moment's thought. Most just set them aside and save them for later but forget to come back to them. When I am given one, I write.
