Description
Sophomore year at John Hill High is torture for all outcasts. That includes me. I have no friends because no one wants to be around me. Why, you ask? Because I'm a natural magnet for trouble. So of course on the first day of Sophomore year at John High a bookshelf falls on top of me while I'm trying to grab Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare off of one of the many wooden shelves in the dusty old library. And of course on the first day of Sophomore year at John High the librarian assigns me weekend detention. I swear I don't try to cause trouble, trouble just seems to love to pester me. This also why after a strange first day I have to go home to explain to my parents, Alice and Frank Halifer, exactly why I have detention this Saturday.
