16- year old Zaleyah Blake is a transfer student at Lakeview High. Her mother is a lawyer and her father is a football coach at Lakeview. On her first day she has trouble finding her classes and making new friends. She soons starts to fall for the captain of the football team Kenneth, but his girlfriend Kayla is jelous of Zaleyah and starts spreading rumors of her.
