Prologue

"Here's to the night I stood alone; to the night I cried so hard I couldn't breathe. To the night I prayed for him to come back to me....and of course, to that night where he never looked back."

I stared at the man I loved for almost three years; to the man I gave my everything to; to the man who decided he didn't want me anymore.
I stared at him and smiled sadly.

"We met, we talked...and it was fucking epic," I breathed, tears running down my cheek as I feel my heart break into a thousand pieces. "But as my reality sets in and I left with the truth in front of me, I have to admit...
