Description
The new Earth is a motionless planet that is nearly incapable of sustaining life, devastated by disease, nuclear warfare, geological and electromagnetic alteration or obstruction, and a major subtraction of natural resources, and as a result, the human race stands on the brink of extinction. Facing geological upheavals, climate changes, kleptomaniacs, heinous gangs, and dysfunctional communication systems, the Hintermeister family optimistically treks on, struggling to defy the odds. However, an unanticipated confrontation with a heavily armed band of seasoned delinquents may ultimately denote their gruesome expiries. Filled with hopelessness, confidence, grief, disgruntlement, romance, adventure, and suspense, "Immobility" tells the eye-widening story of Meredith Hintermeister's perilous journey through the chaos of a dying planet.
