Meeting the vamps

Vampires are real. When Danny is fighting and get gravely injured, can he survive? And if he does, how will he continue to live in the human world? How will he keep his secrets? Did I say secrets as in plural? I think I did don't you? I wonder why I'm asking so many questions...?
