June is just another normal person. You know, the kind that graduate high school at 15 and finish college at 18. June became a CSI to help her city and if she's lucky, catch the man who murdered her parents when she was just 6 years old. She's 22 and doing what any twenty something person would be doing, solving crimes and binge watching nextflix. (Okay maybe just that second one) That is, until she is struck by lightning one night and put into a coma. She wakes up 9 months later, but she's changed.
