As I stand under the bright lights I look out at the crowd and contemplate my life and what brought me here. I'm wearing a scrap of red Silk that barely covers my dignity yet I'm sweating like a pig. What a glamorous life I lead, the men hungrily look over my body. I'm too desperate for their money to feel objectified. The notes they grow in the stage decide whether or not I will be able to eat . When I was a little girl I imagined my teenage years to be more like clueless and less like showgirls. My life is like low budget showgirls, confusing, cheap and should never have existed.
