Ava was born in her Pod and has never left it, confined to the same five rooms her entire life. The only way to access the 'outside world' is through virtual reality. She's always wondered what the world was really like outside and not just what the history books and government officials say it's like. The Unplugged are a group of freedom fighters who claim to live on the Earth's surface and they have a plan to free everyone living in the Pods. Was the Earth really destroyed in a great and terrible war?
