Prologue

His voice gruffed loudly into my ear, his neatly shaven beard grazing against my soft skin.
He stood glaring at me with his grey piercing eyes and his hair ruffled messily but somehow kept flawlessly as he spoke
"You will listen to me, Naomi."
I quivered slightly. Here I was standing next the one man I never even considered standing next to.
When I was young, I heard the stories about him. The Alpha of the leading pack. The last one from the original werewolf family and also our king.
He was the strongest, the cruelest and the Alpha of our entire kingdom.
But,
He was also my mate.
"And if I don't, Kase?" I whispered.
"Then I will have no choice but to kill you." He smiled.
