The Soul Mate

In High School I could always avoid a person I feared. I could have a caddy fight with a girl I hated. As a naive teenage girl, all my thoughts revolved around those things: The bitches, the rumors, and the all too aggressive boys who claimed that I was a tease when I wouldn't put out for them. I never knew that it was possible to love someone that had taken everything away from me- including my freedom. It leaves me very few options. How can I run, or fight when doing exactly that would hurt him? So my question to you is: If your life, as you'd always known it to be, was all you had to give... Would you give it? If it was someone you thought was your soul Mate? If it was someone you believed you belonged to?
