1. Prologue

Mia tries to get through high school but she gets set up on a "playdate" with a neighbor's grandson named Shane. Her brother has been missing since Halloween and so has Shane's mother after she killed his father. Mia's dad is in the hospital from an attack maybe from some kind of creature...or vampire. She learns that there could be vampires in Salem....
