Description
[Sequel to Shift.] Phoenix has finally achieved his goal of becoming a superhero, and with a new career and his own office at the Cube everything is going great. However, secrets about a certain supervillain are weighing him down, and he has to continue to lie to Screech. There is a girl with mismatched eyes that is constantly on his mind, and a new problem for the city's superheroes to solve. Shift has been taking time off from being a villain, but not committing crimes is making it hard for her to ignore how boring it is without Phoenix around. When a mysterious person falls from the sky Shift is the only one that can help, but doing so involves fighting the most powerful and dangerous supervillain that no one has ever heard of, and her only connection to the city's superheroes is a winged rookie she has confused feelings for.
