Chapter 1 The Calm Before The Storm

Curtis had never thought he'd be on the run from the same people he had once called family, especially after they took him in. But what else should he have expected after betraying them. He has too many ties across the country and he knows the lengths they will go to just to make him pay. But the thing with Curtis, once he's boxed up in a corner he will lash out. But even the most vicious predator succumbs to hunters. Can he hold out long enough to keep those closest to him safe and still survive or will he fail to protect them and lose himself in the process?
