Hallie Bellamy is sick of love. Every year, students must fill out a survey to which they’ll be matched based on compatibility and they must attend the Valentine’s Day dance together. But when Hallie’s match turns out to be Cole Farrow, a reckless and carefree boy with a secretive personal life, Hallie has to fulfill the requirements and go on a single date with him—but with the dance approaching, she learns things about Cole that no one ever has, and secrets are surfaced about everyone that shouldn’t have to see the light of day, as well as her desperate boyfriend trying to win her back. With so many complications, perhaps things were just not in her favor.
