Mariana woke up one day to nothing. It was all black and silent until one light flickered on in the room, reveling a man with emerald green eyes, dirty blonde hair. He tried speaking to her but she couldn't hear him through the ringing sensation going through her ears and vibrating her head. With one swift move he sent her into a pool of darkness. His scowl was the last thing she saw.
