Chapter 1

Petrash has been transferred to the snow ring, the permanent band of freezing weather on the planet, after an incident at the company he works for.

He's to do the administrative work at a base where four Huskie anthros truck goods to other bases spread out in the area, and they have a reputation to make any person sent there as punishment to quit very quickly.
