Book 1 of the Willden Trilogy. Ryallon is a vast world surrounded by chaotic energies. Humans live on a few of the continents separated by massive oceans, but many areas of the world are unexplored and filled with enormous forests, endless deserts and majestic mountain ranges. The light of two moons, Siahray and Piohray keep the night skies bright. Tathan left home at the age of fifteen to travel the world. He found adventure along the way, but it wasn’t always the sort a young man dreamed of. Most of it was much darker with dark alleys, knives, and a primal struggle for life at the lowest levels rather than dragons, maidens, knights and treasure. Fourteen years later, he has come home to the valley where he grew up. Liselle is a young woman of seventeen years whose parents wish her to marry soon. However, marriage is the last thing on her mind when she has never seen anything beyond the lonely valley where she lives. Liselle spends much of her time talking to the flowers about how she feels. They listen intently to her every word. Rumors are spreading about a new race called Rojuun. They appeared from the depths of the mountains eight-hundred years ago with the intention of taking over the world. It is their understanding that humans exist to serve them, but are disappointed that humans don’t seem to be aware of that fact. The companions are charged with finding out more about this race of Rojuun. Will they be entranced by beautiful music flowing through the air, or will they die a horrible death in the darkest depths of the world? And exactly who, or what, is Vevin anyway?

Don’t Ever Change is a stand alone short story. High school was a time of fond memories for Lori. Twenty three years later, she’s back in town for her mother’s funeral. Not wanting to deal with family right away after a long drive, she roams around town, only to find herself in front of her old school. On a whim, she decides to sneak through a hole in the fence and take a look around. The last thing she expected was to find a classmate from long ago. Even more shocking was the fact that he hadn’t changed even a little bit; right down to the OP shirt and parachute pants. When Adam explains that he’s been going to school every year for the last twenty three years, it shocks Lori. He shows her the yearbook where she wrote “Don’t Ever Change”. Then he explains how it’s her fault that he’s still exactly the same as when they went to school together, right down to the acne and braces. How would you feel about never being allowed to change? Perhaps you’ll think a little bit harder the next time someone asks you to sign their yearbook.

Each comes to their own snap judgements about him. Sometimes love can be a little quirky, sometimes it can be a lot quirky.

Along the way, he finds a lost boy named Tobias who had been following an emo bunny in the hopes of holding it and making it feel better. When the boy asks nicely for help getting to his home in the village, Zachary agrees. Along the way, they run into a cranky stag and a pretty woman who dreams of meeting a prince. A party in the cemetery isn’t the proper place to take a boy, but zombies aren’t always proper and one of the worst things about villagers is that they always seem to have a supply of pitchforks and torches. Will the boy make it home? Will Zachary give in to the craving for brainsss? Caution: This story is not for normal children. Emo the Bunny was a sad bunny. He preferred gloomy days, walks over a cliff and misery of any sort. One day he saw something very unusual. Normally he'd take a nap and try to forget about it, but for some reason he took an interest. Ducks, bunnies, chickens, squirrels, geese, bears, cows, robins and The Easter Bunny all play a part in the disturbing events which show that woodland creatures aren't always as cute, fuzzy and innocent as they lead us to believe!
