The pool is kind of like a crib, where other Starclan cats can give them company, and similar to all dead cats, when someone visits their grave and talks to them, they can hear it. Ivypool has killed Beetlewhisker as well, the way traitors die by breaking a branch below him with vines while he's standing on a tall tree since she's the deputy of the place.
