They go through various of challenges with their school life, relationships, friendships, and families. Just overall an adventure. But through it all, Wednesday protects Enid. It starts the night of their first hug. Wednesday crawls out of bed as soon as she's sure Enid's asleep, stumbling towards their dorms, gritting her teeth through the pain as her skin blisters. And she shouldn't touch Enid, with all her color. She knows it. But Wednesday Addams cannot seem to stay away from Enid Sinclair, and she thinks that maybe dying to be able to touch Enid is worth it. In which Wednesday is actually allergic to color and refuses to tell Enid because she hates the idea of Enid changing for her. The allergic reactions continue to get worse every time Wednesday spends longer and longer in contact with Enid, until touching Enid leaves her choking for breaths.

Wednesday Addams and Enid Sinclair are two sides of the same coin. Two people trapped by their own identities in a world that tries to convince them that they are alone. This is an AU of Wednesday which is (in very loose terms) structured like a show, as in it still has the format of episodes in a "season" and still is about Wednesday being sent to Nevermore and meeting Enid , though the rest is pretty much entirely different from the real show. I know this is tagged as a Wenclair fic and it WILL BE but the ship is not until season 2, just to be transparent. This is an AU based on the 2020 movie Summerland. In this Wednesday is supposed to represent the main character Alice lamb and Enid is supposed to represent her lover Vera. It takes place during WWII in Kent Britain. Enid and Wednesday meet in 1924 at college bonding over their love for photography. Enid is majoring in photography and Wednesday is majoring in psychology. The two of them create an epic love story until it becomes sour. Enid wanted to be a mother and Wednesday could not provide such a title. So they end up going their separate ways. Until they meet again.
