In the ashes of a fallen empire, Seris Vale works as a quiet archivist-until she uncovers a forbidden fragment of the Echo Genome, an ancient code powerful enough to rewrite reality itself. The moment she unlocks it, the sky burns crimson. Machines buried for centuries begin to wake. And the Dominion that rules her world brands her a heretic marked for execution. Hunted by soldiers, haunted by memories that don't belong to her, and guided by a wanderer who shouldn't exist, Seris is pushed into a rebellion she never asked for. But every time she uses her gift-Ignis Vitae-she burns away pieces of her own past. As armies rise, gods break their silence, and the truth of reincarnated Ascendants begins to surface, Seris must choose: Let the world stay broken... or burn it down to bring it back to life. The first spark of the Ecliptic War ignites here.

The year is 2095, and Humanity has used "Latent-based" technology to create a high-tech, cyberpunk society. The megacorporation, known as Cronus, and its supernatural android agents have spread across the globe, working to seal fractures in the fabric of space and eliminate potentially dangerous entities that escape the dimension created by powerful AI, known as "Latent Space". Every year, a new generation of Agents finishes their training and are recruited to one of the Earth's many "Waypoints", which act as permanent gateways between the real world and Latent Space. This story follows a young squad of Agents as they begin their lives at one of the world's most major Waypoints in the US's new capital, Los Angeles. However, they soon realize that the life of an Agent isn't what they were led to believe in training. Will they rise to the challenge, or succumb to the pressure of protecting Humanity?

9 months, 2 days, 12 hours, and 3 minuets. I was 9 months, 2 days, 12 hours, and 3 minuets late of being ligament. I was 9 months, 2 days, 12 hours, and 3 minutes late of being able to know my future is safe. I was born 9 months, 2 days, 12 hours, and 3 minutes after the Population Law was passed. The law that wouldn't permit my existence. The law that would rip me from my home. The law that would make me, and several others 'test' to keep our lives. The law that left us the only survivors of a entire generation.

"I may be in a wheelchair but I will still end you!" I, Jacinth Adeline Delaney has the honorary enjoyment of enduring the life in a wheelchair, with constant, unbearable pain throughout my entire body and throughout my life. As well as this, I grew up knowing the myth and legends of mermaids, vampires, werewolves, faeries and witches are real, very very real-just as every person now knows in the fine and 'accepting' age of 2018. They live among us humans, accepted by society and sometimes even praised and worshipped. They have normal jobs, welcomed into schools and universities and are huge public figures as celebrities. We normal mortals call them "magics." Now imagine, just trying to make it through university studying for an art degree, living with your mom and her boyfriend as you grow used to the stares and the constant belittlement by every magic out there along with the human population all because you are in a wheelchair. When you accidentally stumble upon a group of magics, planning to destroy the human race as we know it....my luck allowing that happen to me. But even worse, they catch me listening, nearly kill me. And am saved by a vampire, that works in an undercover agency and said agency forcing you to be under witness protection with that same vampire as my bodyguard. Why I am always placed in the worst possible situations? Not quite sure. However accepting my fate, a mere mortal girl that has severe pain throughout every part of her body must now fight against immortals with magic powers and superhuman strength? Ha...... Sounds fun.... ....please save me.....

The year 2566 looks very promising. Adapted and genetically modified humans are the success of the time. People no longer have illnesses, lives are prolonged up to 320 years, people do not age, every disease is eradicated, the quality of life is beyond what anyone had ever expected. But at what cost? Many of these people who are "abducted" or go "missing" are test subjects and lab rats for the imperative success of these genetic modifications. Uma is one of many, but some claim they are not missing at all, just hidden. Are Uma and the rest, really just hidden or is the Trans-Continental Laboratory of Higher Genetic Research and Engineering hiding more than they lead on? Picture copyright: Live Science™️️. The testing on pregnant women was indubitably dangerous; but what else was there left to try when Earth faces the ineluctable consequences?
