You were always a curious child. One day, your curiosity took you too far. You lived not to far from a mountain, MT. Ebott, and always wanted to see what was on the top. Your parents had told you stories about the mountain and you had always wanted to see if they were true, being the naïve child you were. One day, you reached the top after a while of climbing. You looked around, not realising where you were walking and fell into a gaping black hole. You woke up to a soft voice of a goat-like monster who, ever since that moment, took care of you and loved you. She taught you magic and all sorts of recipes. Everything she knew and you loved it. But what happens when you grow up more?

(Smart am I right? Lol) And you finally meet the one and only Sans the Skeleton!!! Wwoooo!! Big deal kinda stuff. Anyways afterwards you meet a specific human and your life changes drastically. But who wouldn't want that? Everybody gets bored of their own life once in a while. . . Y'Know? . . . Smol thing I guess. I don't own Undertale (obviously), but I do own all of the art in this book (as the first A/N states). This is my first fic. I update as often as I can, especially on most weekends. Don't be afraid to comment if you have something to say.

What up! This is my first XReader and as you may have guessed, it's a Mettaton x Reader. I hope all you Metta-fans are ready to go to the countryside with this. Why do I ask? Well, there hasn't been any country or southern XReaders featuring Mettaton and I thought it would be interesting to see one. I will give you the run down of the basics about you and your personality in this book and how it may contradict with Mettaton and his personality. You are a country girl (sorry dudes but I had to, I will change pronouns and add stuff for guys once I finish it.) You will be in 10th grade and a big introvert. You were sexually abused as a child by your father (or mother if you're male) and you were threatened and warned many times by your abusive parent and have been forced to follow rules and lie to your safe, trustworthy parent who later divorced when you finally spoke up about your trauma. You are really shy but when you get mad, you have an attitude and temper. You don't curse or sin since you do go to church every Sunday and don't like such things. You mostly draw, write, and listen to music when you get so anxious you can't handle the situation anymore. You will also be slightly tomboyish. Mettaton will just be himself: a major sinner, huge diva, enormous drama queen, and just fabulous. When he meets you he will try to get you to fall for his body (mainly his flippin' legs) and may seem like the bad boy type whereas your the good girl type (once again, I apologise, if you're a dude I promise to change it when I'm finished) and normally don't fall for things like that and know what to really look for. You have never dated anyone and yet he's dated pretty much every single one of his fangirls and gay fanboys. None of those relationships worked out. You sometimes make jokes about him and his personality which only offends him and he soon comes back with something suggestive. But as you two get to know each other, you both start to see the best parts.

It's a night on the town like any other when you run into the underground's hottest celebrity, in both senses of the word as far as you were concerned. That's right, it's Mettaton. But he wasn't at all like the persona he presented to the world. He was scared, alone, full of self-doubt and, most importantly, looking for someone to take his mind off things.

After a whirlwind of emotions and magic, the Black Butler boys have finally returned home. They are no longer felines, but human. Now they live their lives as they usually did, but with a much darker twist. They miss (Y/N). Although they believed that they wanted to return home, once they were there, they realised how strong their feelings for the girl were. But. by then. it was too late. They had returned to their fictional world. Five years have passed since their adventures with the girl and her modern world, and the men have changed for the worse. Depression, anger, sadness, insanity; these are the conditions that plagued the different men. But, one by one, they discover a cat. One that seems an awful lot like the girl they lost half a decade ago. Now that the girl has found herself in the black butler world as a feline, just as her friends did in hers, she must find her friends and find out how to return to a human and go back to her own world. If she even can, in the absence of the goddess that brought her friends back home. //May not ever be completed. We'll see.//

"It's taking over your life" (Y/N) tried once more. "Just Get Over It! I'm gone now." 'Frisk' screamed, knife appearing in his hand. Read my Mettaton x Shy!Reader story, if you want. You don't have to... I'll try to make the story as gender neutral as possible, with split chapters for females and males. Note that the male readers chapters won't be as good. I'm a girl. I don't really know how you boys would act in those specific events. I'm only giving the basics: You and Frisk are orphans, this book takes place 3 days after Frisk left to Mt. Ebott. This is a true pacifist time line. Frisk gets adopted by Toriel (duh). Oh, and you also get adopted by a monster! Who? You'll see....muehehehehehehehehehe!
